DHL’s solution leveraged 65,000 square feet of an existingmulti-client facility in Las Vegas, Nev. and a new129,000-s dedicated site in Southaven, Miss. The newsites meet the strict assurance and regulatory re medical devices to include duly licensed andtemperature-controlled storage. Key to Avanos’ 2019 strategy, acompressed and accelerated implementation schedule was necessary toavoid potential conflicts with a parallel global ERPimplementation. Both sites were implemented within eight weeks ofeach other and nearly four months ahead of schedule.
